For more than four decades, Skate Kingsville provided an incredible foundation for skating in our community. Thousands of local children learned to skate through the dedication of board members, coaches, officials, and countless volunteers.

Their commitment created lifelong memories and inspired generations of skaters and hockey players throughout Kingsville and surrounding municipalities.

We sincerely thank everyone who helped make Skate Kingsville such an important part of our community.

Kingsville Skates has been invited to continue the skating programs previously offered by Skate Kingsville.

Our goal is to preserve everything families loved while providing a sustainable future that allows these programs to continue growing for years to come.

Is Skate Kingsville closing?

The volunteer organization has concluded its operations. Kingsville Skates (a division of Advanced Hockey) will now provide skating programs for the community.

Are the coaches changing?

Many familiar coaches including Tammy I'Anson will continue teaching with Kingsville Skates, along with additional experienced instructors.

Will Learn to Skate still be offered?

Yes! The Learn to Skate pathway remains the foundation of our programs and continues to be a Hockey and Figure Skating Pathway program.

Will program fees increase?

We understand that affordability is important for families.

Our goal is to keep skating accessible for everyone, and no significant increase in program fees is planned as part of this transition. Our focus is on delivering greater value through experienced coaches, high-quality programming, excellent customer service, and continued investment in the skating experience.

As operating costs change over time, fees may be adjusted when necessary, but our commitment is to provide exceptional value while keeping programs affordable for Kingsville families.
